There are two types of cards - vector cards and matrix cards - that each have their own inventory. Vector cards consistent of an attack stat (green), a health stat (red), and a mana cost (blue). Select a vector and a space on the board to place the vector. Using a vector card on an occupied space adds the vectors together. Matrix cards consist of a mana cost (blue) and entries (yellow). You can only use a matrix card on an occupied space which will change the vector to the product of it and the matrix.
When you use a card, its mana cost will be subtracted from your mana. Mana does not carry over after each turn, and the amount of mana you get will increase by 1 every other turn.
You may also draw more vector or matrix cards with the respective "draw" buttons. Drawing a card costs you 1 mana.
After you have finished drawing and using your cards for that turn, push the "next turn" button to begin the attack phase. In this phase, each card will attack the card across from it, losing the appropriate amount of health. If there is no card across from it, the card will damage the opponent or player directly. Cards with 0 health will die at the end of the turn.
The fight consists of multiple phases where the opponent will behave differently. Entering the last phase makes the opponent perform his special attack that wipes out all of your cards regardless of their stats. This attack only happens once. To win, simply defeat your opponent before he can defeat you.
Good luck!
